We had five wonderful days of memories, starting with painting the rock at the high school at 10AM and Revive@Five on Wednesday evening at the Old Town Pavilion. We had a bigger than anticipated turn out and actually ran out of classmate packets.
Thursday continued with a tour of Old Town and a "Chat and Chew" at a local Thai restaurant. Again we had a larger than expected turn out.
BUILDING TO THE FINALE!
Friday started with golf at Riverside golf course and activities in the student union at ISU. Bowling, pool, ping pong, hand and foot and lots of visiting.
Friday night registration was attended by 204 people. Many old friendships renewed while consuming fantastic appetizers and great beverages.
Saturday morning started with golf having one of the largest turnouts we've ever had. The tour of the high school and classmates signing of the rock was attended by approx 50 people.
Saturday night was attended by 239 people. They arrived to a nostalgicly decorated ballroom where the food was absolutely delicious and the entertainment fantastic. The evening was emceed by Walter Lee and Amy Cox Jones. We enjoyed music by Amy, David Combs and Gordan Wilks, Jean Harten Hardman-Peggy Stinger Crofts-Vince Crofts and Mike Tracy and Skip Carter.
There, of course, were many jokes and a toast with champagne and sparkling water.
The Finale of the evening was a lively dance routine by the CARDIAC INDIANETTES, complete with canes and walkers and singing of "Beer Beer" and the Poky fight song.
Sunday morning was attended by 138 people. Once again the food was outstanding. There were hugs and tears throughout the morning and many sad farewells.
With luck, we will meet again in 2017.
ALIVE IN FIVE!
Log into the classmates section - and update your information and keep us informed about what's going on in your life.
We have found people change their e-mail addresses more often than their home address. If your e-mail address changes and you have a page in the "Classmates" Section, remember to go into edit, enter your user name and password and change your e-mail address to your new one. You should do this BEFORE you actually change your email address.
If you have forgotten your user name and password it can be e-mailed to you ONLY if you have not changed to your new e-mail address.
We do not have your user name and password. If you changed your e-mail address and can't remember your user name and password, e-mail us your new address at firstname.lastname@example.org and we can enter it into your information at this end. You can then request your user name and password and it will be e-mailed to your new address.
If you have any questions please contact us through this site.
